2-Step A great middle ground — removes most light to medium swirls and defects. Only heavier scratches, deeper defects, and paint etching remain. Most recommended.
3-Step Most intensive — removes as many defects as possible at your discretion. Uses the most clearcoat and generally not recommended unless necessary, as each car only has so much clearcoat to level.
